Post subject: What are you all using for oil? Posted: Tue Apr 25, 2006 9:45 pm |

It's just about time to change my oil and I wanted to get any input from any of you with an '05 or '06. What are you all using? Anyone using synthetic? I was going to go with a synthetic blend like Quaker State's 4x4 specific oil. Any other suggestions?

Whatever nissan puts in. But I need to change my oil again and I will be doing it myself now that the weather is nicer. Probably go with a Nissan filter and mobil extended life or mobil one so I can go about 7500K b/w changes.

I used Mobile 1 and a K/N oil filter on my first change and changed it at 3000 miles. I think that I will go back to the Nissan oil filter on my next change, though. The K/N filters are like 3 times as much, and from what I understand, the Nissan filter has the flowback valve in it as well.

Mobil 1 and Nissan filter. Speaking of which it is time for a change.
