Roof Rack on the 05 Grounded?

Just got my CB Antenna bracket and was wondering if I need to run a ground or not. Bracket is the ARB and it is strapped around roof rack bar.

Or - How do I use my voltmeter to be able to tell?

Set your voltmeter to ohms (resistance) or if you have an audible continuity setting. Find a clean ground on the truck on one end and poke the tip of the other through a hidden part on the rack...the paint is an insulator. It will beep or the meter will peg the needle.

Just make sure that it is a decent ground. Nice and clean.

I would run out and try it on my truck, but I just sent my DMM to be calibrated.
