I have the single cd stock radio. Will I be able to put the stock Rockford radio in it's place?

I'm assuming it will physically fit, but I don't know if the connectors in the back are different from each other. Call up Brian Cardigan at Cherry Hill Nissan. He works in the parts dept. and would be able to answer that question.

The wiring is different, RF has an amp and sub and separate out puts for some speakers. Here's a "how to" install the complete system.

Damn! That seems wayy to complicated for me, I mainly want it so I can have the AUX input to hook my iphone/ipod up to. I dont need the stearing wheel controls or anything. Although I would like the option to add a sub or two later on..
Also due to the work im in, sometimes I will be parking the X in some shady areas. So im all set with getting my window smashed or worse, for a radio.

Looks like im stuck with fm radio and old CDs for now!

There is a how to for just adding an ipod hook up to the stock radio. I'll see if i can find it.
