I swear to god are the stock bolts welded in? Had the truck on a lift + 2 hours with a sledge hammer + 2 hours with an air hammer + 10 minutes with a sawzall to get them off.

How common is it for them to be that rust frozen? 3 out of 4 of them were like this, ended up cutting out 3 bolts and putting in 2 new LCAs since we can't get the bushings

Bummer. Yeah, unfortunately, us northeast 2nd gens are usually blessed with siezed control arm bolts.

So i ordered the new LCA's from the local Nissan dealership, and we were bullshitting... He mentioned something along the lines of

If you want the job done right, you need the proper tools. In this case, its a sawzall.

I got super lucky and they came right off. Make sure you do the tranny bypass as well! Go to www.thenewx.org and search it.
