Just installed my Valley hitch. It was a peice of cake, No torque wrench so I just reefed on em. :)

Thanks for the tip Kokopop, I am VERY happy with the hitch.

Now how do I go about figuring out what kinda drop down ball I need?

Glad it went well. How about the wiring issue?

Not sure about the drop down ball size. I mainily got it for a rear tow point and I won a gift certificate at an event.

Oooooohhhhh! I like the rear tow point! Where do I get one of those?

As for the wiring... I haven't gotten the kit I ordered yet, when I do I will have to see what else I need.

Thanks again.

Linky

He's got a few of them, that seems reasonable.

Be very careful. There were a ton of hitches recalled. This is probably one of them.

Yea.

I was also reading the auction and it's used...even though it says new...and possible rust. How is that new?

Just use the setup Dagger had before the Shrock rear bumper. Use a ballmount and a shackle from Tractor Supply.

E-Trailer.com has them but they are like $64. I got mine for $25 used.

DocX,
Any luck with the wiring? I just installed the 7-pin harness. Drilled a hole in the bumper and installed it there. Took picts but left them on my work computer.

Too damn cold out for picts. It was a pain to install because you need to relocate one connector.

Think I'll finally be getting a hitch. Took me long enough.
