The new X's aren't bad. Doesn't seem like a bad deal either.

Unfortunately, I don't really know what the current offers are now or what they are going for. I paid somewhere around that for mine.

I know you bought yours new, Tommy, and I don't know what you paid, but back in 2000 I paid over $26,000 for mine.

Simply based on inflation it's a good deal. Yeah, it's a glorified mini van () but it's still a good deal.

I paid under 19,000 for my new XE in '01.

Thanks for the input. I told him I knew of a sweet deal on a used one but he wants new.

Yea, too bad on the used one. :(

Tom, I'd find out what packages it comes with.

Yea, saw that in your first post. But there are packages you can get.
audio package, power package, towing package...stuff like that.

I'd go for a little less. Dealerships are desperate to get sales nowadays especially SUV's

Geez, I don't know about what "package" then, I'll ask.

I also told "I'd go for a little less" and he's still looking around.

He is not planning to wheel the truck at all.

HI THERE! I traded in my 2003 for a 2009 Off Road, got a decent price. The price you mentioned seems fair enough. It that the price including the trade inand is it fully loaded etc??? I would check around even a distance away. .
I am from Long Island originally, now living in PA. My dealership, Ken Pollock Nissan in Wilkes Barre PA may have a 2009 left over as every now and then they get one in. I was told they didn't manufacture many 2009 due to the "gas crunch" as they didn't expect them to sell well. Now it seems they are in high demand (any Xterra). Did see 1 or 2 Xterra 2009 new.
Let me know if you want to get in touch with them. If you'd like more information private email me.
Best of luck to you and your BIL (brother in law).
Lorrie Y

Thanks Lorrie. He has now stopped looking for the moment because his brother is giving him his car. Sorry to waste your time as he wasted mine.

No problem due! We Xterra Club Members want to help each other out in any way we can!
I loved my 2003 so much I had to get a 2009, but upgraded to an off road which I really love even more! Since I've live in a mountain community for a long time (1600 + feet up) it's a great rig to get up and down the "slopes".
My dealership won 1 of only 2 available Nissan Global Customer Services Awards".. that's why I thought I'd give you the info!
You're Welcome... :) :) :)
Take care, have a great Xterra day.
