Not to sound totally stupid...but I am.
Someone posted on newx that he doesn't have cam bolts.
Don't the cam bolts connect the front of the LCA to the frame? Or am I thinking of something different?
Forever,
Stupid

Ok, I did answer my own question.
I guess I didn't realize that they would just put regular bolts in.

Well to adjust for alignment (in or out) you would need to adjust one "side" (top or bottom) of where the wheel would connect to the body. To make a dual adjustment possible sounds like your opening yourself up to more of a headache.

LCA's for 2nd gens
They're 4 bolts (2 each side) that bolt the control arm to the truck and they have eccentric washers to help with alignment of lifted vehicles
Never a dumb question

See what happens when you own 2 different Gens of the same vehicle.

Bingo. They found they could get 'within' alignment spec with non-eccentric bolts. I believe they did the same thing on the Frontier and the Titan.

Funny, after not posting for a long time (and having my membership removed because of that) I re-registered to ask a question about cam bolts. I click on the 2005+ forum and the post at the top is "cam bolts", unbelievable!
Well, in my Nissan service CD (for my '08 S) it tells you to replace the regular bolts with cam bolts if you need to adj. the suspension. It sounded like Nissan sold the bolts or a kit or something but when I called parts they didn't know anything about them. Does Nissan make them or do I have get them somewhere else? Who sells these? Also are they only for the lower control arms or do the uppers need them too?
