Ok those who own 05+ X's know how shitty our rear wipers are. Well frankly I got sick of dishing out $14 a pop. Cause nothing aftermarket will fit. So what I did is bought a refill size 14" to be exact and did an experiment.

So here's what I did in steps.

1. Took OEM blade off truck
2. Removed the rubber blade part from OEM blade
3. took the little metal things from stock blade. (this is important. They're slightly skinnier than the replacement ones)
4. Removed metal things from the replacement blades
5. Slid the OEM met things into the replacement blades
6. Cut the excess off the rubber
7. Slide it back into the OEM blade
8. Put back on truck
9. Enjoy saving the bucks.

Now this was way to simple and yet it works. I'm not sure if it's been done before. But it's a simple way to save yourself a few bucks. It'll cost you roughly $3-4.00 for the replacement blades compared to the $13-14.00 Nissan will charge ya.

Oh and I tested it out on the truck and they work great..

No it's not it's slightly bigger than the stock one but easily trimmed.

I believe that a 14 inch blade fits, like the one made for the rear window of the mirano, the connection is the same and this will clean your window an extra inch on both sides without rubbing paint, etc.

Trico 14-b fits in there and it's also 14" and cheaper..

I'm running a Trico 16-B on my X. It's a little streaky - I'll need a stronger spring (there's a post on thenewx on 16" wipers), but otherwise it goes right up to the top edge of the glass.
