Just returned from the "stealership" and, to my surprise, they saved me about $400 bucks...

I went in for an oil change and also asked them about a clicking noise from the front of the X that is heard only below 20mph...

They returned and told me it was the "drive shaft" and it was covered under warranty... I asked if I needed to reschedule and he said no they were replacing it now...

When I went to pay I asked (for forum sake) how and why the drive shaft and he stated that it was the u joints that was bad and it was easier for them to replace the shaft instead of the u joint...

So that's my story on how a "stealership" saved me about $400!!!

Interesting...I'll have to get mine looked at. I've been having a noise like that as well and they haven't been able to duplicate it.

I'll mention that when I bring the truck in next week.
