Post subject:  05 Daystar Lift Information

I emailed Daystar and got some information from them. They are listing the lift as a 2" but it will be a touch over 2". This a steel spacer setup that will go between the Strut assembly, and the strut plate. There is no strut disassembly involved.

Part number is kn09105bk and retail for approx. $350.00 this does include the front setup and the rear shackle set also.

Not sure how much that was common knowledge but it wasn't to me so I thought I would post it. Here are the pictures they sent to me.

I'm thinking about it Sarah, but it depends on what other ones come out in the near future. And what more research I find out about this kind of stuff.

Good to know Keith. :)

Good idea. This lift is currently being slam on XOC. Mainly for the price.

Yea, I'm a lurker there, I leech their information. :)

I'm not surprised that they are slamming it.

I rarely post over there. It is almost like they drive Jeeps or something. Some are acting the shit because they are getting the SLR or Calimini lift. Honestly I like off roading, but right now i can spend $4K some where else.

if carlton doesn't get something for free, he bashes it...

but that's a whole nother story...

the only stuff I don't like, is calmini... at least their lift and steering set up... the idler arm brace is ok IMO

It seems the Calmini is known for their poor customer service, dragging there a$$, and poor quality.

sarah that assembly is not supporting the entire weight of the vehicle, most of the unsprung weight is aactually below the assembly, this is supporting the body.

looks like a nice set up. i say go for it jeff.

I called Day Star for a dealer to order the kit from and they gave me 2#'s National Tire Warehouse and QuadTeck in PA. Both had to call Day Star because they didn't know the kit was out.

The guys at NTW called Kathy and she said the lift is still in production and would be another couple of weeks before the dealer sees it.

I wanted to place the order today but they said to hold off till they get more info.

So much for the order date being Nov. 7th

The waiting continues
