Ok this is a two parter...

A. does anyone know how big I can go as far as tires are concerened on R16 wheels w/ a 2" BL and a PML? Having said that...

B. I'm in the market for new tires... any suggestions? I was considering either wrangler MT/R's (I can only get 33" for R16's) or maybe BFG AT/KO's (again, I believe they only make 33" R16's after 31". At least thats the only size I can get without going REALLY big!)

I need a BIG fly swatter and a Raid grenade to kill this Mod-bug....

I have a 3" BL and I run BFG Mud Terrain 33X10.5x15...I had to do some minor trimming on the front plastic, but they fit fine.If you're getting new rims with the tires go with a 15 inch rim,it will give you more sidewall and better bite in the mud (or something like that)

a. 33's no problem at all.

b. bfg at ko is probably the most popular tire out there, but a lot of people using the wrangler mtr's seem to love them. personally, i'd go with the mtr's

33's will fit good..You shouldn't have to do any trimming that Greg is talking about with the Shrock bumper up front...

MTR's are great but the main thing you should ask yourself is how much traveling do you do on a daily basis. Reason I say this is.The MTR's will end up eating more gas that the AT's will..

hmmm... and the thing is I almost have to get new rims cause I have to drive way out to Syracuse once a month for drill. I dont wanna eat up that gas AND wear down my tires. This is gonna be expensive... I might have to wait a bit longer than I thought. Anyone know where I can get some AFFORDABLE aftermarket rims (preferrably all black!!!)??

check out www.desertrat.com they have some really good tire/wheel combo packages.

Or you can do what I did, buy a used set of stock wheels and paint them black.

I got my tires and rims at www.4wheelparts.com they'll meet and beat anybody else's price.

The trimming I did was on the bottom of the plastic behind the tire, only took maybe a inch or so.

These are my rims, you will have to do some trimming up front with the BS. (but for the price, who cares  )

gotcha... I really should go with a used set, but I have no way of painting except for the skills of my misguided youth and a spray paint can. ehhh... I'll figure it out. So the popular vote here is that 33's WILL fit? whether it be 15" wheels or 16" wheels... we'll see
