I need a new muffler bad... I know I want to go with the Flowmaster Super 44. My question is do you know what the inlet and outlet size is? I measured the rear pipe which is all crushed up from my offroading I would assume  ... It looks to be either 2" or 2.25". So what do you think should I stick with the 2.25" inlet I would assume if I go larger it might screw up the flow or something.

Let me know what you think. Thanks.

What I was told when I had a custom exhaust put in was, if there's nothing depending upon the pressure on the way out, you could go larger than stock and get more flow out.

Mine was a 3"

Mine is 2.25, including the cats. After the Y pipe installed after the cats, mine is 3" the rest of the way.

I just installed a Nismo cat-back system I got on ebay from aaaforiegn auto parts and I love it. It includes a new larger diameter y-pipe and all the hardware. Landed cost was $360 and it took about a week to get here.
