I was talking with Cornick about mods to my vehicle and I think I remember him telling me I could get away with 31" tires without having to add a suspension lift or a PML... anyone know somebody with such a mod and/or how it worked out for them??

I could be wrong but I think 04 is stock with 31s (metric, tad bit smaller).

You'll be fine with most 265/75/16 (32x10.5) tires, on stock 16" rims. I had 265/75/16 BFG AT KO's on my '01 before I had any lift. All I did was swap out the plastic behind the front wheel wells with ones from an '02+...the trimming is already done for you. It'll be close, but it will clear.

31's will fit fine with no lift at all and probably no trimming on a '04. 32's will fit with a pml.

Ok, cool cause I just blew out my back left tire somehow and I'm riding with my spare. I dont see the purpose in getting two brand new 28"'s instead of buying 4 31" tires that I'll get a lot of use out of. If they scrape a little I'll just trim them a bit. Thanks

I'm running 31" BFG's with no trimming or lift, and had them before the t-bar crank. And that's on an '01.

I'm looking to go with 33" BFG M/T on a 15" rim.I've got the 3" Body Lift (to be installed come spring time) and from what I've read around the net they should be ok...I hope

33's will fit fine with a 3" BL. I had my 33's with just a SL and that worked well too, with some minor rubbing. With a BL, since there no compression, you should have no rubbing at all. You just may have to trim plastic at the back of your front wheel wells. :D

Scott,

What would your opinion be of 32's under a PML? I'm running 31x10.5" BFG AT KO's and am probably going to upgrade to the 32x11.5's when these are in need of replacement. I'm not looking to spend the $$ on an SL or BL.

Think I'll have major issues?

I'm actually planning on removing most of the plastic when the "Construction" begins this spring (Going from 100% stock to one lean mean Mudding machine).I figured it would be ok,Speedy and Thumper run the same tires I want to get on their Pathfinders, and all they have is the 3" BL,I think Speedy had to trim a little off the bottom of his fender, but it wasn't that much or very noticable....I can't wait to get everything done.
