Hi guys. I'm thinking about getting headers (maybe through 4x4part.com), replacing the two cats(maybe the Magnaflow univ. metal core), and the entire exhaust which I'll get custom made to save money. I might get the Thrush muffler from 4WheelParts locally. What should I expect to encounter for this. I know I'll have to re-weld some 02 sensor bungs but where exactly? Does any one else make headers for a 1st gen X? What size piping should I use, 2 1/4" alumized? What of the muffler, chambered or straight-through design? Any ideas.
