I just read this on CXO

I was having problems with my Xterra running hot. It would run very hot when in the desert. I decided to do some research and found drawings of the oem radiators. I found a radiator that has a core that is twice as thick.

This radiator will fit 00-03 Xterra's, it is off of a 02'+ supercharged Xterra.

Hope this helps.

I was wondering if anyone here with both a 2000 and a ?02 supercharged Xterra (Scott  ) could verify this.

I'm sure it would fit...not certain about the frontiers, but I bet it would.

Yes, it will fit. When I had my accident they actually replaced it with a double-row radiator that is for the supercharged. Unfortunately, it was a used one and I had problems (leaking), so I went back to the standard single row radiator.

www.radiatorbarn.com has them both for sale. They used to have a 3-row one but it doesn't seem available. That picture might be of a 3-row radiator.

Not sure on frontiers, but I can't imagine why it wouldn't.

Hmmm...I did get one from radiator barn and install it to replace my old one...can't remember off the top of my head if I went with a 2 row or 3 row....I'll have to look---when I can get around to shoveling the 2 feet of snow off the truck!!

Mine's a 02 SC and I looked at the rad a second ago, the core looks only an inch wide. It was in an accident many years ago, maybe they installed the wrong one? Do any SCs have a small core rad like that? I also had a problem in the summer with it overheating when the temp. got over 104, only happened once actually.
