Can I used a 2001 Xterra XE spare tire 15x7 for a 2004 Xterra SE S/C spare tire??

I believe it would work, i think they have the same bolt pattern but someone confirm please.

The rim will definitely fit, but how does the tire size match up? I assume you have 16" rims, so the tire size will make a difference. Anyhow, for a short-term spare, anything that fits will work.

Johnn, i wish i could help you with your spare issue. At one point i had like ten of those tires in my garage. I'll keep an eye out for that 17" rim. ( I still have my stock four ) But as far as another Xterra rim, like Scott said it will fit. The Bolt pattern should be 6 X 5.5. You just have you see how big the tire is in diameter. Useing different size tires in the rear will mess up the way the tires spin in the diff.

You don't mix and match if your using it as a spare. Reason for that is it'll do wonders on your LSD.

I found one 01 Xterra spare Tire 15x7 in a JunkYard (like new) in a perfect condition so I decide to used that for my 04 S/C spare Tire .
