Yea, will it hurt if i were to go to a Smaller Pulley? i believe its a 2.6 now. I'm thinking a 2.4 or 2.3.... Any ideas?

I assume you are talking about the Super Charger. I have never done it, but thought about it...I just don't need worse gas mileage.

You'll spin the SC faster, potentially wearing out the bearings faster, but I doubt it.

The only way to get that pig to go any faster is to strap a rocket to it. Save you cash and buy your girlfriend a nice gift.

I really doubt that spinning it faster will hurt the bearings. What will kill bearings a lot faster is improper belt tension. Going from 2.6 to 2.3 will make it spin 3.5 times faster than stock, so, in theory it will wear out 3.5 times faster, but there are a lot more variables than that.

If you want to do it, go for it. Will it make a huge difference in performance? You may get over 22lbs of air pressure boost. The only way to make use of all that extra air would mean you would have to somehow recalibrate the ECU, which is well beyond my capabilities.

yeah theres definately a bit more power. and as far as gas mileage goes if i drive it nicely i can get up to 15, but if i drive like an asshole i get down to about 11

its shitty but thats why i picked up a car for a DD
