I got a new windshield this week.We were coming home from Old Forge a couple months ago and a rock hit my windshield causing a nickel size star,it was starting to spread,so it's been replaced,I have glass coverage so I didn't have to pay out of my pocket for it.The windshield I have now has the dark blue tint on the top of it,I don't think the stock windshield had that,if it did I didn't notice it.

I had the same thing only mine cracked a few years ago after ECXC. My new windshield also has the tint and the old one didn't.

The installer complained about having to work around the snorkel.

I had the same situation with the cross Bronx, a rock hit right in front of my face...but my new windshield has the tint...old one didn't....still not sure if I like it....they moved my rearview up for me though which is a lot better
