I'll have to take some pics when I get back.

I'll be in LA till Monday for the final Reg season Lakers game.

Didn't want to get razzed for a clean X pic so I held off from the pics.

Swung by a local Nissan dealer to get a hitch pin ( HD was sold out). These guys had no idea you could do all that to an X.

HEY Jeff, Keith said you were able to get your bumper almost flush with the bottom of your head lights. We were not able to get it that tight. I can get a finger between the bumper and the light.

I could get the drivers side that close but the passanger side didn't want to.

I was thinking that I'll have to drill out the mounting holes for the passanger side a little to get it to come up.

Good idea or bad?
Do I want a finger width gap between bumper and light?

If it's a good idea I'll wait a while to do it and install a winch at the same time.

I'll get pics up on Tues. Try not to razz me for the clean pics.

Later

You want at least a finger width gap to allow for flex. The bumper is mounted to the frame, which is somewhat independent of the body. The gap is desireable.

Yeah his bumper has the same gap as mine. For whatever reason we where maxed out on the bolt holes on the passenger side. Same deal with mine.

Keep the gap, Dave. When we had to use the Hi-Lift for the Fools run it actually gouged up my grill pretty good. Noticed it today while I was cleaning it.

Good to know

After I thought about it, I did notice the body shifting independently from the bumper.

Gotta love asking Q's here and getting a straight forward answer.

Thanks again

Sorry no pics yet

Working the Ginn LPGA event in Orlando and fly back on Monday.

right now it looks like my next gig isn't until the 19th for the NBA draft lottory in NJ.

But of course when I get back to NY on Monday they may say something totally Diff.

The waiting game sucks!!! But when your bumper shows up at your door you have a smile from ear to ear and you forget how long it took to get it.

I'm still waiting on my Skids

Got my sliders on Monday. Tracking # for bumper puts it to me either Mon the 8 or Tues. I can't wait. I'd rather it just show up, rather then expecting it to come. Is it Monday yet???

When I ordered mine Jim said it would be 4-5 weeks...week 4 was last week and this is week 5...I'm sure he's pretty busy and somethings are worth the wait so I'm not to concerned yet,I'm just hoping we don't go into week 8 or 9

Plan on waiting. I know with the 05+ bumper he has to get all his metal laser cut. And he waits until he has enough orders to have that done.

Some folks waited 3+ months for their 05 bumper.
