I'm just impressed you can identify gear fluid by smell and axle fluid by sight.

So I talked with Murphy awhile back about the gear oil smell I have inside. So I pulled the cover up to access the inner shifter boot and noticed the boot got pushed up too far. Also there was gear fluid around the shifter shaft that was coming out of the opening of the boot. So I pushed it back down till it sealed and zipped tied it. I'll have to drive it for awhile to see if anything changes. Anyone been through this? Sent from my VS988 using Tapatalk |
