So I went to rockys ace hardware today and got a key made up. It was a chip key, so they had to plug into my xterras computer to program the new key. Everything worked fine with the new key, but my old key won't start the xterra. Apparently one code for one key, so it eliminated the old key from the system. They reinberst me my money and now I have to use my old key as a door only key. Oh well. Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk |

I think for Nissan to do it, they need the original key and the vehicle to make a new key. Probably for that reason. |
