Just wondering if anyone is having an issue with brakes going to the floor? My truck stops, but the pedal is on the floor....have replaced everything except the booster and the dealer bled the ABS and brake lines, but still goes to floor.

That’s scary. Are you losing fluid?

MtDewMike - didn’t you have an issue bleeding the brakes properly because something was on backwards?

calipers were upside down so the bleeder was on the bottom.

I hear the master cylinder, distribution block and ABS actuator are difficult to bleed. Tom (Bklyn.X) has a ridiculous time with his 1st gen.

Maybe someone that knows firsthand will post up.

Who bled your brakes the last time? There is a specific order to bleed them on an Xterra, and it’s not the standard order either. It’s goofy

Right - the calipers were on the wrong side.

But if Becky took it to the dealer, I would hope they'd notice something like that.

Apparently the master cyclinder is vin # specific, and the one I had was not the "right" one, so, back to the "original" one, the dealer pressure bled everything and they are 100% better, but cautiously optimistic....not sure I will be doing any hard blues next time out....

Thanks everyone.....keep your paws crossed!
