come on! really? not having the toyota is no excuse! if the explorer can tow that beast i bet it would make it through freetown. it is 'stock friendly.'

has an explorer ever run with the X's before?

You mean the Mountaineer. That thing is a towing beast!!
Those are some beefy looking axles.

The wife... already changed my plans do to the recent events
the mountaineer has never been through there but could do it if it needed to.
It's getting closer to swapping them but the ole girl still has some life in her.
If I loose another engine or tranny is So On

Yes Rome full Chrome Moly inners and outers.
plus they come with chrome hub gears and full flanges too.
lifetime warranty on all parts.

the last ones were chrome too and they lasted 9 years...
but a different design Dana 44 with Dana 60 joints
had a 1 year warr. on shafts and lifetime on joints.
was going to cost almost as much for one side as to replace both sides.

So I am changing to the Super Longfields now.

The rear springs lasted 9 years too so I can't really complain
Thanks Justin but they are custom springs as well
5 inch lift and 53 inches long. I had to move all the mounts to fit them.
made for long travel not stock replacement type.
just sucks it all hit at once.
