so after installing all the new parts which were moog LCA's, upper ball joints, CV's, inner and outer tie rods + i used calmini tie rod adjusters , moog center link, moog idler arm and a new power steering gear. now i have this issue. i went to firestone to get an alignment they said theres something wrong and cant adjust the toe, my links are maxed out on the adjusters it seems like the center link is to long or the LCA's are to short i really dont know heres some pictures...

My first guess is that you might have to use MOOG adjusters with their TRE's???

It looks ok in the pictures...those places never can get the alignment right. I have to go to an old time truck alignment place where you drive onto some plates and the guy goes down in a pit.

Luv that place man. But how strong are those parts?
I go to Tommys guy for my alignments and he does it all by eye, last time i was there for an hour and he had to adjust the cambolts on my ucas for some reason.

How strong are the moog adjusters or all moog parts?

You want to look for a shop that has a dedicated alignment tech. The big box auto repair stores teach their techs how to use the machine, not what they're doing.

For example, I met one kid, he could adjust toe in no time, but he couldnt explain how it worked or what he was doing, he just knew to loosen the jamb nut and twist the tie rod till the bar on the screen turned green.

You need to find someone who know what camber/caster/toe is, how to adjust them, and how to get a good reading.

It COULD be that the parts are different, but im skeptical thats the case..

Check the part #s on the box against the #s on the moog web site.
Do you have your OEM or moog adjusters? If you do just hold them up to the Calmini ones and see if the thread is deeper. Also hold your OEM TRE's up to the moog's and see if the sleeve is shallower...

Calmini adjusters can ONLY be used with the Calmini steering. The overall length is totally different which prevents bringing the toe in enough and you will have excessive toe out. . Go back to stock or get some from AC.

Well that is a great bit of information!
You would think Calmini would include it on their website where they're selling the adjusters...
