Ok so, im stranded in Jersey. Needed wheel alignment but drove anyway. Got here fine. Pulled out the driveway and all of a sudden i heard crunching noises like the tore was hitting something and sucking it under. Got out to inspect, found no damages nothing was hot. Right now, um. Jacked up, wheel off. I see nothing wheel turns smooth and fine in the air. Im guessing weight has some play in this. I also am able to move the rotor slightly toward and away from the truck. Suggestions/tests/ideas?

So the bearing issue caused the rotor damage, I'm guessing. Did you repack your bearing anytime recently?

My truck is about then same vintage but I did repack the bearings this winter. Keeping a eye out for what others are experiencing so I'm ready for it in case it happens.

In addition to the membership, I have my home & autos insured through the club. It was a good move for me as the discounted rates made it very attractive. The club discount on my eye wear saved my over $150 a few years ago too. There are advantages to having it for some people.

AAA bro. My tow from Oneonta cost me $100 in tolls and a tip for the driver.

The $13 sounds like the cost of the rider on your plan.
