Ok,

got my starter issue fixed, it was the battery :guns:

now i have a major one, just got back coming home from a meeting for work because of black friday (mad sales etc etc)

anyways, i noticed when i hit the brakes my lights would flicker.. shruged and kept coming home, 2exits later my radio stops and lights flixered again... started to get worried. then about 1/4 or so , everything goes dark and starts back up, truck kept running but scared the crap out of me, 220 is a dark road with out headlights.

so i pull in to the house, and start hitting the brakes and such and then she stumbled and almost shut off, my warning lights came on, no CEL..

I dont work till friday, but i need a "fix it" fast type of deal and im broke too. Any ideas?

I would re-clean your battery terminals and tighten again. If that doesn't work, try taking a look at the grounding cables and keep an eye out for corrosion.

figured id update this. I left my BT OBDII connector on and found that it "shorted" out and was the blame for my issues...

All is good now, sorry i didn't reply sooner, things got nuts around here...

now i need to get the front tie-rods replaced and maybe exhaust (i think i have a leake mid section) for inspection come april... just love this cold weather...

btw, has anyone replaced a Tstat on a 01? and is it a pain?
