Well, things just have not been going well for me lately. Everything is harder than it should be. After some frustration fixing other things on the Yellow X, I thought I would do something easy and rotate the tires on the Blue X.

I have put about 2k on the truck and don't know when they were last rotated. I jack up the truck, go to take off the well nuts, and they won't come off. Mind you, I have a 600# impact wrench. I turn up the air pressure, which you are not supposed to do, to 120psi and the come off hard, all the way, with bits of metal flying as they come off. Every single one is cross threaded or the nuts are the wrong pitch (they say 12x1.25 on them). Anyway, I rotate one side, the nuts go on just as hard, and I can't even get the other side off.

Looks like I will be replacing all 24 wheel studs. What a PITA. :freak:

:? That sucks, Scott. I hate it when you plan on doing something that's supposed to be quick and easy, and it turns out to be a project. My wife will tell ya that seems to happen to me all the time. :D

That really sucks. Plus 24 new lug nuts. At least you found out in your driveway and not on the side of the road.
