100 degrees in my town, feels like 117, was gonna go take the jet ski on the water to cool off... walked out of my house to this...

Mine leaked for years, not that bad though. You could try some leak stop (just add to your PS reservoir.

Rock Auto has the gear boxes for $250 + core, autozone carries them for slightly more.

It's not a bad DIY, just need the right tools (HUGE socket, 42mm I think, and pitman arm puller).

Edit: I just replaced mine a month or so ago, and could give you a quick write up if you want, it's pretty straight forward.

I did have a small leak that I controlled with leak stop, but this is significant enough to take the next step. Damn that is a huge socket, might need that writeup! Thanks!


Guess this gives me an excuse to install my SLR steering kit too. (and put off headers)
