Most likely a head gasket.
I had an external leak on the passenger side rear.
It would burn off the exhaust and smell.
Apparently its a problem with the casting of some 3.3 motors. :(

Don't let it overheat.
If you need a nissan Engine gasket set or new heads, let me know. ;)

I had mine go on the Blue X.

At the age of your truck, it could be the head gasket or a lot of other things. Possibly as simple as a hose or a small hole in the radiator.

What does the exhaust gas look like? If you're voting in a new Pope, it's the head gasket.

Stopped by my buddy?s shop to check on my junk heap;

He is waiting for the water pump from Nissan. He changed the right exhaust manifold that had two cracks in it and the knock sensor that had been throwing an intermittent codes for years.

It is nice to see that most of your internals appear to be in nice shape. Hopefully he'll get everything buttoned up and ready to go in no time!

Tom, you should have said something about the timing belt parts.
I have all OEM Nissan stuff for sale, brand spanking new in the box from Courtesy Nissan. Could have saved you a few bucks on parts and used OEM stuff.

Hope it didn't cost too much.
