A couple of buddies & I were going wheeling yesterday... it took us 1 hour to get to the trails & all of a sudden.... for no freaking reason.... just as we were about to start offroading.... battery light comes on....
after a few tests, & the reputation of our trucks, I new it was the alternator that was about to die....
Had to go home without wheeling!

Good news is that I wanted to upgrade to the 125amp alternator from a quest/villager for a while....

The SUPER good news: will be posted that in the good deal section in half a second!

Really...I can't complain... especially not in front of you & your tranny problem! The good thing is that I finally am going to do that alternator "upgrade" & had been wanting to do!

While your in there, and if you have the time, extend the wires to the plug. It will make any future changes a lot easier...then again, you can hope you never have to change it out again.

Well.... was quite an install! took me like 7 hours!!! Bolts got stripped... I even broke the belt when I turn the truck on!!!! Long story short... wasn't as easy as it sounded! but i'm glad it's done!

On the other hand, I discovered another problem... NEW THREAD!
