replacing my shocks and rear leafs on a 2003 X I just ordered stock height bilsten 5100s for front and rear and new torsion bars. I am planning to do a PML can I get 1.5" or do I need to upgrade to the bilsteins with longer travel or stock travel is fine? I am not planning to the future doing anymore of a suspension lift possibly a BL but that's it |

Cranking up the torsion bars & adding longer shackles is what give you lift. I assume you’re asking is the stock height shocks will bottom out/over extend with the PML? I’m guessing it’s safer to go longer to accommodate the added travel in the rear but I’m pretty sure it ran my stock shocks after the PML when I had my first gen. |
