like Tom said keep it clean. I've had to repair my Warn twice due to neglegence and poor maintenance. Keep it covered and well greased mate.

Mike - I read through this comparison & others online before deciding on what to get - http://www.fourwheeler.com/how-to/129-1 ... -shootout/

It’s from 2011 but still good info. If you are just about to order a bumper, you have plenty of time to research winches & choose the one best for you before the bumper is delivered.

The last word in any winch test is WARN.

Do you like the smittybilt, I saw the X2O with synthetic line for a decent price. Warn just to expensive.

I have the xrc. I like it. It works when I need it to. The line is probably garbage, but I plan on upgrading it soon anyway. I know a few running the x2o and they like them as well.

I have a Engo 10k winch for 5years and last year it stopped mechanically letting line out but would take it in. So the solenoid /relay was busted. I bought a new electric pack for $60 through Engo and going to install it next month. I’m going to relocate it to a dryer location in the engine bay with longer wires and maybe that will help too.

I've got a 10k smittybuilt x20...seems to work well when I need it .the case got some surface corrosion pretty quick but mechanically it works good. The wireless controller is nice and works good too.
Warns are obviously nice but they are big $$.
