A few days ago my x was clipped by a hit-and-run driver while parked in front of my house. Only real damage was the plastic fascia on the corner and the tail-light. This highlighted what I've always considered a "soft spot" in the X, and has got me looking high and low (wearing out the google) for a replacement bumper that offers integrated rear corner protection, or some aftermarket corners like the P&P makes for 2nd Gen. Suggestions? |

Suggestions? To be honest, the plastic corners did you a favor. If they would of been solid, it would of took the quarter panel that it’s attached to with it. They are only attached by sheet metal screws. I’m pretty sure in my search for rear bumpers, I found one that had a welded bar coming off the center bumper. That would probably be your best bet. I can’t remember who made them right now but when I figure it out I’ll let you know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
