Ok.... I ordered a rear tire carrier and rock sliders from Shrockworks right after the ECXC in July (of course with the gift certificate I won at Saturday's picnic). They told me that my parts would not be in for 3 months. I'm still waiting... and you know me... patience is NOT a virtue I possess...

Is this normal and...
is there something I should be doing to get ready for installation?
Any problems you forsee I will be encountering?

Next are Wrangler MT/R's and 2 1/2" lift....

Thanks....

3 months is a pipe dream for Shrock, from what I hear. Your truck is new enough that you shouldn't have any issues with rusted bolts, but I'd take a look at the bumper bolts and pb blast if necessary.

They gave me an estimate of time and they were just about right on. They make them just for you. Top notch work worth the wait.

Susan, talk to Matt...he waited 6 months for his bumper to never get here and had to get it made by someone else...the guy took like 3 weeks to get to the powder coat and it should only be another three weeks to get it done and shipped...cost a little more than the first one, but at leas this guy keeps in touch and is actually doing it

:)

Thanks... It would just be nice to get them from Shrockworks since I did win that certificate from NEXterra.... I'll get in touch with Matt... maybe he can guide me on a bumper when the time comes.

I just really want those sliders before I go again... I tempted fate at ECXC with great success but... I'm just afraid that my good luck will run out the next time.

Did you call Shrockworks? They always talked to me.

Call Mark @ Shrockworks ask him for an update. I've dealt with him many time & he's always been straightforward with me. If there's a specific date you need it by, let him know that as well & ask what the likelihood of getting it by then is.

Unfortunately, their wait times are long but their stuff is fantastic.

Suresh is right, I have seen a ton of bumpers and few match the quality that shrock puts into theirs. Mark was always quick to give me an update when I asked on both of my bumpers.
