Not sure of where I should have posted this, but I'm ordering a awning soon and I'm not sure about the install of it. I just have the factory rack. So do I just attach it to that, or do I need a different roof rack? I tried searching but could not find any information.
Thanks!

I think someone here recently got one of those. Hopefully they'll chime in.

I recently got an ARB and I had to make custom L brackets and used the bolts and holes on my Dephep to mount it. As for using the stock rack, you will need to come up with something custom as well. Shouldn't be too hard though. A custom C style clamp would be the best route probably.

Which awning are you looking at?

If you're going to ECXC, you could always drop a ticket or two into the raffle for an item that Fourtreks has donated - Modular Awning Mount Kit. ;)

I just installed a smittybilt 8.5' x 6.5' awning on my stock rack. It came with some L brackets that I had to drill one extra hole to work with 2.25" exhaust clamps (it comes setup for 2" exhaust clamps) and trim one bracket as it interfered with my garvin rack.
