Ok, looking at new shoes for the X. Factory tires are P265/75r16. MT/R's come in LT265/75R16 but the Wrangler page says they don't fit the Xterra. By all my math there should be no diff in these for mounting on factory rims but I want to confirm this before I order them....cause once they are here I'm screwed if they don't fit.

Help from the experts please???

:santa:

2nd gen?

285/75r16 fit on stock wheels with a tiny bit of rubbing which can be fixed by the melt mod. Some MTs will also rub the frame on full flex but not serious.

I have the 285/75/16 and they are amazing! Easy as pie to melt.

If you plan on lifting the truck you will probably want to look at 285/75/16's instead

Seconded. All you will need is melt mod and even that is a maybe. But if needed, it's easy with a heat gun and 2x4. Just make the plastic pliable with heat gun and push back with 2x4 and hold till it sets. The place that needs it is the "bubble" on the inside fender lining. Any questions just ask.
