the subject says it all....I'm looking at a set of sliders as one of my first installs on this rig. Any drilling? how har is the overall install? They look pretty straight forward, just want tips from those who have done them already.

Dave and I helped Tyler with his a few months ago. No drilling, straight forward bolt on. Does help to have a hand or two though.

First gen bolts right on.
Second gen slight PITA. Drilling several spots along the side and bottom of the chassis to home a tapping bolt.

I'll be ordering tires and sliders as soon as taxes clear.....maybe new skids too depending on what the april fools run does to my underside.....

Let me know when you get the sliders I will show you what part needs cut off for you to install skids. I have pics somewhere.

Thanks everyone, the sliders and new tires are on order. Will be about 5weeks till the sliders ship so I have a ways to wait. But hope they will all be on by the ECXN weekend. If someone has a mod day I'd gladly participate, bring pizza and beer and help work on anyone's trucks as well.

i am now fully qualified, with the quick witted training of C3P0, to install White Knuckle sliders. Will post pics later, but it was a good clean and pretty easy install.
