Just pick up anything that looks worn our on yours as we'll. but honestly brotha, you should be good with the housing, torque converter and odds and ends. Direct swap out.

ok so, update. tranny has been in for some weeks now. but still getting p0745 pressure control solenoid code, same as before. whats the odds of the used tranny having the same code, meanwhile none of yàll knuckleheads here on the boards have ever had this. i remember somebody tellîg me it could also be associated w a fuse or something in the engine compartment bit i cant seem to recall or find any info on it. before i drop $500, ideas anybody...?

You seem to be sure that it is not the filter or sludge gathered at the bottom of the transmission as I suggested to you before. I’ve been told these are the most common causes for this code.

I admit to knowing nothing however assume that it is a wiring problem that is outside of the transmission somewhere between the splice that you and Misha made and the TCM.
Maybe one of the connector plugs “H” unplugged has some corrosion?
Maybe try following the wiring from the splice to the TCM, checking the terminals, harnesses and connectors for corrosion/shorts.
Did you look at the FSM on this (AT-160 thru 164)?

Ok so I wana thank my 718 brothas for bein there for me thru all my break downs. Update on my transmission issues. So it turns out, the initial code i was getting P0745 Pressure Control Solenoid was being caused by the voltage drop down resistor which thanx to Bklyn.X was located on the passenger side of the engine bay behind the battery. Thanx to mixxali4 who let me take his out to diagnose this error. So basically this $50 part killed my tranny after a drive to Pine Grove. Funny cause a Transmission guy here wanted $500 to fix the Solenoid issue. He also wanted $2000 to slap a rebuilt tranny in. Used tranny $600. Drop down resistor $50. 718 my ninjas...
