It's now complete. It's nothing spectacular seeing as I'm not a carpenter, nor do I own real tools. The ends are open so I can store the usual recovery gear and frequently used items and have them available. There are storage compartments, although once the truck starts really getting modified again, it'll be for aux battery, inverter, fuse block, etc. It suits my needs for now, and only cost $80 to make. Here is the nonsense I created.

You need a sticker that says 'When the trucks' a rocking, don't come knocking'... hahaha...

Nice work, sure beats sleeping in a tent when it's freezing cold & raining.

Cool, Jesse. Will this stay in the truck at all times, or did you make it so that you could take it out when not needed?

Thanks guys! And Mike it is removable. Granted I won't ever put the rear seats back in, but I made it removable so I can fix it if it breaks or improve the set up

Nice! I can't justify the thousands spent on roof top tents, although if someone got me one I wouldn't turn it down! haha. Thank you, it does what I need it to do, and that's hold my large body and keep me safe! I want to get into a lot more expedition and camping, so who knows what I'll end up with
