I expect to be getting some Shrockworks stuff soon. At least the front bumper, if not the sliders and/or the rear bumper. I'd rather not do the install myself. Can someone recommend a shop on the South Shore they've had good luck with? And what should I expect for pricing?

Just go to Ricel's house in RI and Curt will (help you) do it for a six-pack and 'za. Bring c3po with you. If you're lucky I can bring an engine hoist and watch you guys do it.

My wife wants it professionally installed. That's part of the deal. I am happy to oblige if it gets me a Shrock bumper.

What's the need for a professional install? A motor or tranny is one thing but from recently doing it a couple weeks ago, it was an easy bolt-on-driveway-job

Its hard to find shops to install aftermarket parts and if you do find one that is willing to do it for you, the job will take longer than normal shop-times, costing you more cheddar.

Print the instructions out too, that will help a shop get you a better estimate.

I just charge beer. If you want I'll create a Dragline Off-road LLC invoice for her records.

No joke. Own an off-road company. ;-)

Not sure how much more professional you can get.

He's taking you for a ride, man. I wouldn't pay more than a sixer for that work.

As per the Mitchell's Parts and Labor Guide of 2012;

An aftermarket bumper install on a 2005-2014 Xterra shall run 3 hours. My shop charges a standard 4 br/hr rate.

Thus a solid 12 pack of your finest Budweiser shall do.

I expected a better beer from you Curtis. For shame. Btw, they are all the laborers. I'm the guy having a beer saying, "nope. That's wrong. You suck. Do it again".
