How many miles do you have on the stock ones? I added the shocks to mine because I was going to have to replace them anyways.

I hit 80,000 miles the other day.I bought the xterra used but i doubt the stocks where replace by the previous owner. If I hit a speed bump to fast, the rear slams against the rubber bumpstops.

Yup I know how that feels! Mine were doing that at 60,000. If your going to get shocks the 5125s are the way to go. And considering your buying a package already from PRG if you add the shocks now it'll be cheaper then waiting and buying them later separately.

That's because of the weak factory leaf packs. Many people, including myself, have installed the Timbren bumstops in the rear. Although, once lifted, you really won't be hitting that them much anymore.

Thanks for the link mike! Those are actually a new addition on my short list of mods to do(the short list seems to be growing faster by the day). At 80,000 miles I'd say those shocks have had a good run but you will notice a great improvement with new ones. All depends on your budget and uses on weither to go with 5125s or others.

The link is not working for me. Well i picked out all the parts i am going to get. Its going to cost me around $1100. That is alot more than I wanted to spend, but i think its going to worth the extra money.

I finally ordered my radflo coilovers. I was woundering if i can add a half inch spacer to the coilovers without any problems. Would i need long brake lines or would i have UCA contact.

Firs of all - congrats! Second, I had asked a similar question a while ago - can I add a 1" spacer in addition to the Radflos? I was told that it was physically possible, but I would probably get a lot of coil bucket contact. And if you're sticking with the stock UCA's for now, I'd definitely say no to adding a spacer.
