A 20lb tank requires a fairly stout bracket. A filled tank with regulator and protector weighs in around 50lb.

The one I have holds it tightly, but I'm not sure it would hold everthing in an accident.

The Powertank ones are nice, like all their stuff, but also expensive.

I can find out how much our distributor charges for them.

For a couple of quick price references...

http://firedot.com/flag_fire_prices.htm has them listed for $54.47 (5#) and $58.20 (10/15#) but you have to buy them in pairs - they don't have a price listed for 20# brackets.

Powertank charges 59.95 (5/10/15#) and 79.95 (20#) for their brackets

The price I can get for the vehicle mounts are $25 for a 5# Co2 bracket, $27 for a 10/15# bracket and $30 for a 20# bracket.

The only issue would be getting those brackets from me to you...

Jeff, if you can get me one, let me know. ECXC is soon enough for me.

Would anybody be interested in non-electric pneumatic switches, if you're running ARBs? I can get more specifics if anyone is interested, but I'm going to be running that in place of the electric switches. I found a place up in Rochester that is a distributor of clippard.com, but they want $10 for handling on any order. Since the switches are only $13, the handling and shipping makes it not cost-effective unless I grab a couple.
In total it would probably be around $20 per switch...

Never seen these used before. I assume you run the air lines right into and out of the switches. Great idea, but mine are both done already with electric switches.

Can they be picked up? We've got a few guys in the Rochester area that might be willing to help you out.

Anthony if you could do it I would definately appreciate it.
I'll going to get in touch with them to see if they can be pre-paid and then picked up since I'm not sure about pickup.

Here are a few pictures.

He made the tie down connectors too wide, so he's gotta trim them up a bit. But it's as solid as you can get, it's really nice.

In the front and back there are two holes for some bolt/nut action that will hold it really nice in the slide rails.

Real nice simple bracket. How securely does it hold the tank vertically?

As for learning Jeff, check out your local CC, they usually have classes for learning to weld and all the materials/consumables are paid for.
Keith, I tried to find a place down there when I lived in Bergenfield to learn to TIG but could not find anything. Any course I could find was part of a larger curriculum. I was going to stop into Bergen County Choppers and ask them if they knew of anything. If you are seriously interested I would go bug them.

Thanks. Two of my Uncles weld for a living I have to start to bug them. The biggest issue is time. Right now I just have none.

I know how to weld, but have yet to buy a welder. I don't want to get a cheapie, so I've been holding out for a good Miller mig welder at a great price.
