I got the Staun Tire Deflators for Christmas! I'm so excited! Mandy is the best!

Didn't come with any instructions on how to set up the psi level, so I gotta do some research on figuring that out. I'm just so excited about this I can't even tell you! whoohoo!!!

I found this little bit of info on another site..

"How do they work?
Each brass tire deflator comes preset at 18psi and can be adjusted from 6-30psi. There is an adjustment cap and a lock ring to hold the cap in place. Each ? turn of the adjustment cap decreases that setting by 3psi. Once you have set the pressure that you would like to deflate to, you can tighten the lock ring to keep them at that pressure for future use. You can also set the deflators by using a tire that is already aired down to a desired pressure. Simply screw the deflator onto that tire and turn the adjustment cap in until air just barely escapes. You are now at the desired pressure and can tighten the lock ring to keep them set there. You will have to do this for all 4 deflators. Since each ? turn of the adjustment cap is 3psi of air you can use this to adjust to different pressures for different trails. I set mine at 12psi and left them there. Staun can also manufacture the deflators with custom valve settings."

No, I don't think she will be going with me.

Nice find Gene! I think I'm gonna take them to Hess and just play around with the turning and using their digital reader to figure out where I'm at. I'll probably set them to 18psi, give or take.

And of course, I had to play with them before I read that they were at 18psi by default...the default is now gone hehe.

Hmmmm. They don't self-adjust. They are zero on the cool factor. But.... the price is right......

Hey, that's a pretty good idea.

I have these. I got them on sale when I bought my tires for $5, they are now $12. You put one on each tire and they deflate all four. You can put your pressure guage on them and when the first tire is down to the desired pressure, you just remove the rest in sequence. They work great.

Where would someone get a set of those Scott?

I still can't find my damn Staun deflators - last I saw them was when I took them out of my pocket in your front yard at B2S...

Maybe if I buy another set of tire deflators, they'll reappear.

Mostly a Jeep store, but he has great prices on tires too.

Another great place to do business. :D

By the way, Dan, I never saw them. Maybe I will find them in the spring! :D

Because, Sarah, you might cut yourself.

And what's with the diamonds? I am really confused. Is this new, old or somewhere in between.

Plus you still have to stand there and hold it.

You can't just mention diamonds and then drop the subject into a pm...you better spit something out.
