Hey, how'd I miss this? I sit in the office across from Scott at work, and didn't even know it was his birthday!! But, then again, he's had so many it's easy to loose track of them. :)

First off thank you gents for the B Day wishes! No muffins for me on my B-Day but Barb did make my favorite cake, Banana w/ rum (Mt. Gay), pineapple frosting. Sounds weird I know, but so does white chocolate/cranberry muffins and we pretty much all love them @ least those that have tried them. Oh yeah, dinner was shrimp and mussels on pasta.

2nd Woe is he with faint heart, who dare come down pulverizer lane, cause the jibes and insults fly. Jeff & I have to do something to entertain ourselves and keep the old guy (me) awake. ps: Jeff and I are engineers who specialize in the evil coal pulverizers, used at power plants to create your electricity, or at least 35% of the power created in the USA. :usa:

Best ALL!
Scott

Happy Birthday Scott!

Banana cake is my favorite also, although a little more plain than you like. I like mine without the rum and with cream cheese frosting. Banana cake is no small undertaking! My wife will only make it once a year, for my birthday. I made sure our wedding cake was banana with cream cheese.(my wife was off the hook for that one, Gus & Paul's made it)

The more I think about it, rum with banana and pineapple sounds like an incredible drink recipe. It must be awesome as a dessert.

Too funny, the top tier of our wedding cake (36 yrs ago) was also banana cake. Yum!

Can't remember what the lower tiers were but I'm sure we weren't sharing the good stuff
