The last remaining final reduction part left to upgrade in my front diff / CV axle assembly is the Diff. Side Shaft. So I just got off the phone with RVC who makes the custom Chromoly CV axles. Rough price, the guy I was talking to thought, a heat treated Chromoly shaft would be in the $250 range based only on my verbal description. I will be following up with a reverse engineered sketch for a more accurate price. He did say if I put together an order for 3 or more, the price would start to come down. Final price and machining would require an OEM shaft sent into CRV for their reverse engineering. I have a shaft in the mail to me now.



Anyway I plan on following up on this and if the shaft is anywhere near that price range I'm going to get one. If any of you have an interest in getting one too, I'm not adverse to saving money if we can order a few at the same time.
