One of the other forums I frequent from time to time is CandlePowerForums. It's all about flashlights! Now, I know I've spoken with some of you in the past about my flashlight collection, and some of you may remember the one I brought to the last ECXC and Back to School Run, which was my Klarus XT11. I figured it was time to show off my entire collection here! I counted 34 when we took these pictures, but then found 2 more hanging in the basement (pictures not included). So, yes, I have a total of 36 flashlights! They're addictive! Trust me!

My best ones are the 2 Klarus and 1 Fenix, a little further down. The best source to buy these is GoingGear.com. The guys down at the shop are fantastic! And the owner of the shop has an Xterra! If you contact them, tell them I sent ya!

Love candlepower forums. Did a bike light retrofit on there with some some new CREE XP-G's. LED's have come a long way in terms of lumens/W.

The Fenix TK75 is an absolute monster. 2600 lumens. It's almost too bright. Turns night into day...quite literally.

No, but it's on my "want" list. I just don't have that much coin to throw down on a flashlight :) I have a 4 D cell Mag light with the LED retrofit, and I have a special long 4AA version miniMag with the LED conversion. I also have two LED regular length AA miniMags.

you should grab one of the DeWalt goose-neck flashlights...they're awesome if you need to work under a vehicle!

*edit...just realized that your rechargable is a Ryobi but you get the idea...

It's addicting! My wife keeps rolling her eyes at me when I talk about them or bring a new one home. But yet, when the power goes out, she seriously asks me, "Do we have any flashlights in the house?" Go figure.

I'm looking at this one right now. Very tempting.

I don't have anything special, just a Mag 3D cell on the driver door and a 2AA cell in the rear hatch. Cool thing about the little one is the "candle function", the lens end unscrews and you slip it over the back end of the flashlight body to use as a stand. The last 2AA Mag I had did not do that.

I'd like to pick up a nice tactical piece, but I'm thinking I may just make an end piece instead. Being a machinist has it's advantages, you know :)

Kyle, are you looking for something you can still tailstand? If so, many of the new LED's will do that. Or are you looking for something that you can use handsfree?

I was just saying that the new 2AA Mag I picked up does that but my old one didn't.

Or did you mean about the tactical unit?

I was referring to the scalloped end on the tactical units pictured above, like your Klarus XT11 :)
