Used Auto Parts Sale!!

Well, I've been in contact with a lot of junkyards recently trying to find a used transmission for my Ranger. I found a guy that had one for $100 so I bought it, threw it in, and I've got my commuter truck back :thumbup:

In my quest for finding some parts, I came across a pretty good deal, though it may be a bit of a haul for some of you, the MA guys looking for parts may benefit from this. I'm not sure what they have for Xterras but it may be helpful if you've got a friend looking for parts. I hear they've got a lot of Jeeps.

Hmm, I don't need anything, but I'm curious if they mean all that one person can carry, or multiple people can carry...

Probably just one person, but I'm not sure.

I just sent them a note earlier today to see if they have any Xterras on the lot. Nothing.

So, while there may not be any X's to pilfer, there could be all sorts of other stuff for retrofitting like axles, springs and what not. Come to think of it...I may just go for that disk brake conversion for the rear afterall now! Anyone here ever done it for an '04? Worth it or not?

I've been to this lot before and it's pretty decent sized, though stuff is not really laid out very well like some other junk yards I've been to that at least have the same vehicle types/manufacturers grouped together so you're not just randomly roaming all over the place.
