…is Christopher “Pikachu” Oakley. He was around back when I first got into this game. He was at a few ECXC’s and BTSR’s back in the day. Some of you old timers might remember him. I wheeled with him many times and he helped me out. I just learned that he passed yesterday morning, January 12, 2022.
My condolences go out to his family.
He was a Skid Row rep back when they were the only company making skid plates for our trucks and the first guy I knew running 35’s on his IFS Xterra.

I fell out of touch with him as I sadly have with many of the original Xterra OG’s but remember him fondly as a fun guy to hang out with and a good trail buddy.

Every day is a blessing and every friend you make is one as well. Rest in peace my friend.

Well said, Tom.
Chris will definitely be missed.
He was my first spotter ever offroad, at ECXC 1 in 2001 in my brand new 01 Xterra.
I've been on countless trail rides with him, beach runs, meet and greets.
It's amazing the friends that were made all because of a truck.
Enjoy every day and go on every trail ride possible.
Great friends have been made through this club and others all because of a truck.

That's sad to hear, Tom. He was young - what happened?

He was a good guy. I had only met Chris back at ECXC 2011, I think. MAYBE one more time at a Back to School Run up at Scott's (daggerdoggie) old house.

That really sucks. I'm sorry to hear that.
