I'm getting hooked and would like a set of wheels to mount 33" tires on. My 32"s are mint and excellent for snow, so tentatively, I want to hang on to them and use for 6 months of the year. So if you have, or hear of available wheels please let me know.

Scott

Steel is the way to go unless your a lazy old guy who hates chasing rust down in the cracks and crevices. I grew up with steel wheels and I sure like the lighter non rusting alloy wheels.

And you can bang out a steel dent. Alloy and other rims you can't. Agreed steel is the way to go

On the other hand, the OEM alloys don't dent that easily...mine have been through hell and back w/o more than a few nicks etc.

I have like 12 rims?

TJ,

Want to loose 4 or 5? Where are you located?

Hey Scott, I have 5 rims and 33x12.50R15 tires, plus one brand new unmounted tire available. Not to far from East Granby, in NY. But frequent the Hartford /Torrington area semi often...

Archametes, That would sound great except it's my understanding that the 15" rims won't fit over 2nd gen calipers. Have you tried?

Mine are all for 1st gen

I only chimed in about alloy vs steel.

I did notice you hadn't offered them up but I thought it was worth the try. They may have been 2nd gen and you may have been crazy enough to part with a few.

Best,
Scott

Not only will they not fit because of the diameter, but the bolt pattern on a first gen is 6x5.5, while a second gen is 6x4.5.
