Hi all,

I got RockyMtnX's rear recovery brackets from thenewx.org, but when I took off my rear bumper on my '11 pro4x, I noticed that the bolts were only partially threaded... the ends were ground down, probably for easier installation in the factory. I've heard this might've happened on a few models or production runs or something.

So I'm looking for the stock bolts included with most xterras, which are not ground down at the ends.
Anyone want to trade bolts with me? Mine are full strength and thread fully into the frame with stock bumper.

Pizza or beer, and lots of gratitude, included. If you want we can also try pulling a tree over with my new winch :)

What's the reason for the switch? I think mine are like yours on my 09 and no issues.

Don't have anything to trade (mine were also ground from factory), but I got you bro: hit up BoltDepot.com. They are located in Weymouth and you can pick up whatever you need (or order and they'll ship within a few days).

I believe the bolts that I bought for my recovery points are M14x1.25x50mm.
